MS studio svc pack 5

I am about to install CVF from scratch. I then want to upgrade to the v 5.6. I have the install files up to 6.5A, I also have the MS studio svc pack 5.

I need to know in what order I should install things. Also where in the sequence would the MSVC++ and its service packs go?

I'd suggest the following order:


  1. Install CVF

  2. Install VC++

  3. Update CVF to 6.6 (you can skip 6.5A)

  4. Install VS6-SP5

  5. Run Per-User Setup for CVF

  7. Re-add MFC Include/Lib directories to Tools..Options..Directories if needed
