Back again. Writing messages on the cave wall with chalk.

Question 1: Does the "Intel Cluster Toolkit >>Compiler<< Edition for Linux"

include the C, C++, and Fortran compilers?

Question 2: Does one have to download just one archive (tar file) to

obtain both the compilers (above) and tools (MPI, etc.)

that are part of the above package? Or do you need to down

a Toolkit tar file, a C/C++ tar file, AND a Fortran tar file?

Question 3: If I have downloaded "l_ict_p_3.2.2.013.tar", what do

I have? Just the ToolKit tools? Or both the ToolKit tools

and the compilers?

Question 4: If the above includes only the tools, and I have to go

back an down load the compilers will I need more than

a license key/serial number for the "Intel Cluster Toolkit

>>Compiler<< Edition for Linux"(which I have)? That is

will I needseparate keys for the C/C++ compiler download

andthe Fortran compiler downloads (which I also have)?

Question 5: How can I make sure the your product and customer

registration data/information for my institution is unified

under a single email address and account name. I have

a feeling things are hosed up ... and would like to fix

them.

3) The tar is a bundle it includes all components in it.

4) This serial number / license file will install all the components included in the product. (one serial number for all components)

If you look at the license file all components are mentioned in there i have incl some of the components you will see in license file here

Mmm ... good, that is a relief. The document document in the download docs file:

Linux_Intall.htm

does not include the word compiler in the title and does not seem to refer to the

compilers themselves. It is as if they are not part of the Install ... and maybe they

aren't because this is the Guide for the Toolkit >>without<< the compilers. Maybe

it shouldn't be the one the >>Compiler<< distro ... or maybe, I am confused again.

What file in the tar tree should I use as a guide to the installation of everything including

the compilers which are apparently in the distro that I have downloaded?

Thanks ... Is the PDF you just provided the path to or an HTML equivalent in the

Compiler Edition archive I just downloaded? You should make surethat the documents

in the Compiler Edition download match what hasbeen downloaded. Having a Linux_Install

HTML that describes installationfor the NON-Compiler Edition is confusing.

I have wasted time and broken a lot of chalk because of this ... ;-) ...
