I am starting to learn multithread approaches. I would appreciate receiving any simple fortran code that uses multithread so that I can understand the discussion in the manuals.
Thanks

If you registered with us, you'd have received the latest Visual Fortran Newsletter which has an article on multithread programming. If not, register now and you'll get a pointer.

Also, VF ships with a number of (small, but not necessarily simple) multi-threaded samples.

Dave,
I have written a (very) simple multi-thread program. It is in a posting on comp.lang.fortran from this afternoon (30 Jan 2001) or, if you want, drop me a line at matthewcroberts@hotmail.com & l'll send you a copy.
Matt.
