My Serial Number isn't in the proper format

I'm trying to register my i7-6700k product but my serial number isn't in the XXXX-YYYYYYYY format. Mine has 13 digits

Hi Gabriel,

You may be trying to register your processor in the registration center that is used mostly for software development products. hence the 12 digit requirement,

It appears that you may not need to register your processor.
