New drivers 15.8 for Vista and 14.33 for XP are out. Good job on Intel for showing signs of change. However, there are bugs that weren't there before I want to point out.
-World of Warcraft crashes. It just freezes the entire computer and it restarts. This happened when I was in Netherstorm zone though I am not sure if it'll be repeated in other zones. It doesn't happen right away, it happens in combat after a short period(5 mins).
-3DMark 01, 05 is showing corruption on hardware mode. 3DMark05 shows a lot of corruption on hardware mode.
-Unreal Tournament 3 also shows image corruption. It is quite extensive and its not playable. Its demo, I don't know if its better on full version.
-Crysis has "interlaced" water. Quite annoying. Just... cannot... play.. like that. For some reason it annoys me to no end(the interlace affect).
I don't know if you guys(Intel tech) can repeat the bugs on your systems. I hope it gets fixed. The situation for the drivers are still VERY VERY terrible. I'd say they are still pre-beta stage.

Look at the pictures and keep in mind that anandtech has access to the 15.8 as well as 15.9 press release drivers. Certainly I admit it only applies to the G35 platform, but I can draw my conclusion from it.
Did somebody actually test whether those games that are for multiple platforms available do run better or worse under Linux? I'd be curious about the OpenGL performance of http://intellinuxgraphics.org/ Does it provide better compatibility? Less performance due to more software OpenGL?

Try this in the config.wtfDavidC1:

SET M2UseShaders "0"
SET pixelshaders "0"
It helped a lot of people with MacBooks running X3100 (posting no. 161):

And I assume the overlaping of driver code is pretty big regarding 3D stuff in intel's Linux/Windows/Apple driver source code.

I know i posted this in the "Drivers for X3000" thread but felt this is more appropriate...
Quake 4: During the 'Aquaducts' and 'Aquaducts Annex' levels the sky is very glitchy at some points... Will post screenshots once I upload them...
