Not Authorized to Access premier support page

Hello,

I get "Not Authorized to Access" message when I click on the "Intel Premier Support" link at https://software.intel.com/en-us/support or at https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/try-buy-tools . I did request access to the Premier Support at the "Manage License" page and received an email asking to click on a link to complete the configuration, which I did. But I still get "Not Authorized to Access" message.

I need access to the Premier Support to resolve the license issue for the Intel® Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition for Linux* (all tools)

I successfully installed the product and placed the license file in where it should be. However when I try the "icc -V" command, I get "Your license is not current enough" message with the right license listed among others.

Marina.

Hello Marina,

I have sent you the two license files. I see two license files are registered under your email, are you meaning the license file, with Support Expiration Date on 9/10/2015, does not work?

Thank you.

QIAOMIN,

Thank you. Yes, the license file, with Support Expiration Date on 9/10/2015, does not work. We have Parallel Studio installed in <path_to_intel>. In <path_to_intel>/licenses directory there are two files, one with the older license (that expired on 6/21/2014), and the other with the license that expires on 9/10/2015.

In <path_to_intel> we have 3 versions of compilers installed: composer_xe_2013.1.117, composer_xe_2013_sp1.3.174 and composer_xe_2015.0.090.

This is what I get when I call three versions of icc compiler:

1.

<path_to_intel>/composer_xe_2013.1.117/bin/intel64/icc -V

2.

icc: error #10052: could not checkout FLEXlm license

I have restarted the FLEXlm after placing the new license file into <path_to_intel>/licenses/ directory.

There are some errors in the flexlm/lmgrd.log file, but I'm hesitant to share them in the public forum, and I still get "Not Authorized to Access" message when I try to access Intel Premier Support.

Marina.

I resolved the license problem. There was <path_to_intel>/flexlm/server.lic file which was identical to the old license file. I copied the new license file into  <path_to_intel>/flexlm/server.lic, and restarted the FLEXlm. Now the new license is being picked up.

I still would like to have access to the Intel Premier Support. Is it possible to check why I 'm not authorized to access it?

Hello Marina,

Student licenses are not eligible for Premier support. However, you can submit your technical questions at forum https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-c-compiler.

Thank you.
