OS X Yosemite: stuck on initializing

Hello,

I have successfully installed Intel XDK on Macbook Air MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2011) running OS X Yosemite 10.10.5. Problem is, everytime I try to start the app, it is stuck on initializing screen. Already restarted and reinstalled several times but still the problem existed.

Note: Previously I have no problem when running Intel XDK on Ubuntu and Elementary OS.

Please tell me if anyone has similar issue and if there's any workaround to fix this. Thanks in advance.

Have not seen this on Mac. Please see the uninstall instructions here: https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-xdk/topic/542074 (ignore the 1621 install, download and install the latest from http://xdk.intel.com).

I have it running on Yosemite (mac mini server 2011), with no problems at all.  As Paul suggests, I'd uninstall and reinstall, see if that resolves it, or of course you could bump to el capitan.

Thanks Paul and Michael,

Since I have tried reinstalling the stable version several times, now I install the Early Access version, and it works just fine. Please consider this problem solved for now. Thanks again.

I did face this loading and intializing XDK issue in Ubuntu....   and then  trying reinstalling many times over, it did resolve.

I developed an app, and was rigorously testing this past week, when suddenly now I am facing his loading/initilizing issue  one more time.

I am unable to find why it should start behaving like this, when no updates were made to XDK.

I did reinstall again, bu no luck this time around.....   This last 3 days, not able to open XDK at all.

Can anyone throw a clue ?

Subramaniyam -- does the EA version make a difference? Go to the EA sub-forum to find a link to the download.
