OpenCL on Xeon Phi: SDK or INDE

Hello,

I missed some developments and cannot seem to catch up using Web search. There used to be an SDK for OpenCL on Xeon Phi. It looks like the SDK is no more, and in place of it is OpenCL Code Builder, which is a part of Intel INDE.

I tried to download Intel INDE starter edition and received an email from Intel Software Development Products with a link to download. However, no Linux download is available, only Windows and OS X. Where do I get an equivalent of what used to be the OpenCL SDK for Linux?

Andrey

Hi Andrey,

The latest version of MPSS is MPSS 3.3 that works with the Intel(R) SDK for OpenCL Application. The Intel(R) SDK for OpenCL Application is integrated into the OpenCL(TM) Code Builder.

OpenCL(TM) Code Builder today just supports Windows* and OSX* only. But let me ask someone who is more familiar on this work and will get back to you.

Just got the answer for Intel Code Builder for Linux:

Intel(R) Code Builder for OpenCL API 2014 R3 for Linux* (which upports Intel(R) Xeon Phi(TM) coprocessor) can be downloaded from this article: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-code-builder-for-opencl-api . (Jan did point to the same article, thank you very much).

The web site will be fixed next month.
