A customer of ours is running our code compiled with CVF 6.1a. The user has an IBM PIII at 1.0 GHz with 1 GB RAM and a zenon dual processor.
While running our code (loading the code in fact) He will either have the OS lock up or receive the message "Out of Memory". He does not see this problem a lower-end machine (e.g., 512 MB RAM, single processor).
As a secondary symptom. His sound card seems to be disabled when the "Out of Memory" message occurs. We do not use the sound card in our application.
Is there any known problem with this type of configuration?

I've never seen this problem reported before, and know of no problems with that configuration. However, an "out of memory" error on program activation usually indicates that the EXE has been corrupted.

The same EXE is installed on a lower end machine (single processor, 512 RAM) and it works. I have not have the customer copy his EXE (there are several) to the lower end machine. Perhaps there was an installation problem.
