Intel is the biggest graphic card seller in the world. Not because it manufactures the best graphic cards but because they come inbuild into there motherboards. They even have a bad reputation of stopping the support and abondening older IGP's even though they can handle the latest OS's or games. They are never able to reach there top performance that they can reach. Like the intel 865 IGP. I had an older mobo with core2 2.6Ghz. 2Gb RAM in dual channel mode. But still I can't run the Games or Install newer OS's just because I dont have the drivers for that. Patches are not available for that. I hate Intel for that. They should make these drivers open source. I tried a lot to get something that could help me to overclock or atleast tweak the IGP for better performance. But the tweaking options were so limited that nothing had been possible. Nvidia and ATi both have so much options to go with. they still have support for there old hardware. Atleast they take the juice out of there cards. Is there any utility that can help me tweak intel graphic card. Or that can atleast give me some more control over my hardware like Powerstrip, Riva tuner, and Ati tools etc. Can any utility give me some more control over my card. This is the same case with newer intel IGP's 965 as well.

Can you list the games that you are having problems with? And the OS?

Well, I m using Windows XP and Vista in Dual boot system. Vista don't have any OpenGl support just direct 3d although Vista runs quite nicely on my motherboard. Secondly, I was trying to play Doom3. It seems to work in the begining but soon crashes. It does seem to support the IGP but I guess that i might need some kind of patch for that or a new graphic driver in Xp.
