Post problem on IDZ website: Message queued for admin approval

Q: Have you ever experienced a problem with so called "message queued for admin approval"? A: Yes and it happens every time when a web link is referenced in a text of the post. However, I don't think any posts have to be delayed when Intel domains are referenced. For example, www.intel.com, or software.intel.com/..., etc. It is clear that Intel is trying to reduce number of spam-posts about different TV news, Game Events news, etc.

Yes that's true. Don't you think that some heuristics can be added to the spam filters in order to tweak them? For example specific user behaviour  (like number of posts , number of posts which have been flagged as a spam per user posting history) I think that by adding such a information spam filter triggering will be reduced.

Hi Sergey,

We have tightened our SPAM filters recently because of excessive SPAM.  Unfortunately, some valid posts also get caught in the filter. We are now working to prevent that.

Hi Sergey,

Saw your test posts.  Yes, they were caught by filter and issue still exists.  We are working on it.  No ETA at this time.

Hi Sergey, we exempted all the IDZ users with Black Belt status from the filter mechanism. We trust you.

Let me know if it helped in your case. Regards, --Dmitry O.

>>...we exempted all the IDZ users with Black Belt status from the filter mechanism... Hi Dmitry and Hal, Thank you for your verifications and corrections. I think this is a great incentive for all the rest IDZ users to become Intel Black Belt Software Developers! Best regards, Sergey PS: I just completed additional verifications and it is possible that these two post triggered a complete lock of my posts ( Please take a look ): Forum: MKL Text of my post: Mecej4, Just run the test with values for matricies I gave. If I don't put values 5 and 7 repectively ( 1st values ) it calculates the C properly. Forum: Intel C++ compiler Text of my post: >>...If tests with the latest 12.x version are important, could you give me a link to that build please? You could get any updates for Intel software at: Intel Software Registration Center Web-link: https://registrationcenter.intel.com/regcenter/register.aspx

I'd like to report that one of my posts on MKL forum: ************************************************************************************************** ... >>...The loop may be sped up by parallelization with '#pragma omp parallel for'... It is a very useful for large matricies but there is a question here: Does it make sence to do it for two 500x500 matricies? I'll post tomorrow performance numbers for addition of two 512x512 matricies ( without OpenMP ) on Ivy Bridge system. ... ************************************************************************************************** is delayed for a review at 11:25pm MST. It looks like Intel software really takes care of me and reminds: '...Sergey, it's time to sleep... it's time to sleep...'

It continues and another post is delayed in: software.intel.com/en-us/forums/topic/393401 thread and it is clear that something is still wrong with Filtering Software system.

Hi Hal, This is simply ti let you know that the following post was delayed on Intel C++ compiler forum: ************************************************************************************************** >>...Ideally what I'd like to see is for the docs to add one tiny, but hugely clarifying phrase to each of: >> >>- _mm_lfence: Performs an implicit _ReadBarrier() >>- _mm_sfence: Performs an implicit _WriteBarrier() >>- _mm_mfence: Peforms an implicit _ReadWriteBarrier() >> >>Assuming that they do in fact do so... >>It appears that all your posts after 6:00AM PDT did not go into moderation (propagation dealy?). I will continue to monitor... Yes, please, because something is still wrong. If a post has a web-link, even if it is a web-link to some web-page on Intel web-site, the post is delayed.

Hi Sergey,

I think we found the root cause of this problem. As I mentioned before, we exempted all the IDZ users with Black Belt status from the filter mechanism. But we did not change user roles in a right way; so I just made the required changes in the system. It'll hopefully solve the problem.

Could you please check it? Thank you for your patience and I'm really sorry that you expierenced these issues for a long time.

Regards,
--Dmitry O.

Hi Dmitry and Hal, For some time I was thinking that my issues were somehow related to Windows XP and older Internet Explorer version 8. This is simply to let you know that during last two days most of the time I was using a notebook with Windows 7 Professional OS and Internet Explorer version 9. The same issues continue and it is clear, as Dmitry already mentioned, that there is some issue ( roles related ) on the server side.
