Twice in as many evenings, a problem has occurred which has me deeply disturbed (read that, fuming, cursing up a blue streak, etc.). After spending an hour or two editing a large dialog which constitutes a control panel for a data analysis package I am writing, I tried to save my work and exit the IDE. The save operation causes an error which dsolays a dialog
Dialog title: Compaq visual Fortran
Icon: Exclamation
Message: Out of Memory
Buttons: OK
This error prevents saving the *.rc and my hours of work have been lost.
The system has 256MB RAM, verified with the Windows Task Manager, of which only 76MB was being used by processes at the time.
Autosave options cure this? Report as a bug?
Thanks, Cliff

This is entirely MS code - not much we could do about it. I haven't seen other reports of this problem. I wold suggest periodically saving your work if this is a recurring problem for you. Sorry...
