Publishing for WP8 (Issues with Identfying Publisher GUID and APP ID)

Hello XDK team !!!

Please I wrote simple app .. Android Publishing is cool ..but When I want to publish with my Windows (WP8) account. I find it hard to map these two column in the Windows Account.

The  Publisher ID and the App ID

Any Windows developer knows what name is the Publiser ID and App ID is when you want to publish your app ? because When I enter 

The App Identity Section (in Windows Developer Account )/ View App Identity Details

All I see is Package/Identity/Name,Package/Identity/Publisher, Package/Identity/PublisherDisplayName

So where is the App ID and Publisher GUID..

Hello,

It sounds like you're using the Windows 8 Cordova build option to build a Windows 8 Phone app. We do not yet support the "universal" Windows build option. The only way you can build for Windows 8 Phone today with the XDK is by using the legacy Windows 8 Phone build option.

We will eventually support universal Windows builds, but not in the immediate near future and not until we support Cordova CLI 5.x builds

Dear Colleague, 

Thank you for your response but it IS in the legacy build section that I am am trying to use to build my WP8 app not the Windows one.

The issue I am having is filling up the parameters in the App Details section before building a Window Phone 8 App in Intel XDK.  

I know my

-description,

-developer name,

-Publisher name

-Author 

As they are in my Microsoft Developer Account..

But my App ID and publisher GUID are not fields I see in my windows phone developer account so how do I input that before building.. I hope its clear ? Thank you

Your Publisher GUID is the number after the CN= (B2136493-A92F-4507-B6E6-7D4B17BD908C) in your account. You can also use that as the App ID -- they have merged those items.
