To begin with, I wanna say that I'm not sure this is the right forum for my question, but I don't really think any of the forums seems perfect for it.
I'm working for a company that is currently working on an
application that among other things will be able to show and record
hi-def videos from several cameras. Our station is equipped with 4 disks in RAID 5.
We
want to turn off the recording feature when the disks are rebuilding.
For this we need our application to see this information. We can see when
this is happening in Windows through the Intel Matrix Storage Manager,
so it is obviously possible to get this information, but how do you get
it? The SM bus?
I've been looking around but not been able to find anything about how to do this.
I was hoping someone here could help me in some way!
