Read core temps and controling multiplier via CLI

I was directed here to inquire if anyone knew how to control the multiplier of Core i7's via some form of command line application.  The XTU works just fine to control the multiplier, but it doesn't do so automatically or via the command line.  I need a way to programatically detect CPU temperature and set the multiplier to maintain a goal temperature.

Is there any documentation/SDK out there to help?

Hi Ty,

You may want to repost this on the Community for processors here: http://communities.intel.com/community/tech/processors

OK, but I'm starting to get bounced around quite a bit.  I emailed Intel for support, and the email response told me to post here.  Now you're telling me to post in the processors community.  It doesn't seem like this information should be this difficult to find???

I'll post over on the processors group as well to see where I get bounced next.
