RealSense Camera Issue

Hi,

I have a RealSense 3D camera front F200, which I'm using with a Dell laptop, Intel Core i5 processor, Windows 8.1 Pro.

When I first plugged the camera into the USB 3.0 port, it worked fine, but since I disconnected and reconnected it the computer wont recognise it.

Has anyone had this problem before? I think its a driver issue (I'm also getting a driver compatibility warning from windows action center), but I'm not sure

Try to uninstall the SDK and reinstall it again and see if you still have such issue. Thanks!

Thanks, I already tried that, but it wasn't the problem.

Turns out I have a dodgy connection somewhere inside the device. If I wiggle the connection at the micro-B port and adjust the angle of the camera then it connects/disconnects.

Can you post the exact error you're getting?

Also have you tried replacing the cable?  (Often an issue) or checked how well it's fitting into the port?  Is there an LED on?

Ah - I was posting just as  you were apparently.  You can try taping how the cable goes into the cam but that port is a delicate point in the early cameras.  Luckily we won't have that issue once these cams come built in :>}

I am having the same problem. My brand new laptop meets the requirements. It has a 4th generation processor, Windows 8.1 (64 bit), 8 GB RAM, and 1 TB of storage. It was working just fine and then it had stopped when I tried to use it again.

Hi,

When did you download the SDK.After 20th of Feb,Realsense team has released R2 of SDK.Also run windows updates if possible.

For us it turned out to be a dodgy connection. We had to open it up and re-solder the connection to the micro-b port. Since then its worked perfectly.

hi everyone. i have the same problem. but i think the connection is not cut. my laptop just can't detect the RealSense
