RealSense R200 depth camera not properly recognised in SDK

Hi,

I am trying to capture the depth stream of the RealSense R200 developer camera using the latest RealSense SDK on a 64bit Windows 8.1 machine with i7 processor. Although the depth camera is detected, it doesn't seem to be recognised as a depth stream device. When I query the device, the stream type associated with the depth camera is STREAM_TYPE_COLOR, not STREAM_TYPE_DEPTH. If I try to run the '2_RawDataCapture' example, it only works when enabling the PXCSenseManager with STREAM_TYPE_COLOR, but not with STREAM_TYPE_DEPTH. Also, if I run the 'RawStreams' example, I can visualise the stream from the depth camera, but the resulting video feed does not look at all as a depth map. I get a video stream that is green instead of grey-scale and very noisy with double vision of objects.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Does the current RealSense SDK actually support the R200 camera? If not, when will the SDK for the R200 camera be released?

The R200 support in the R2 SDK is at alpha - very limited features supported. As this camera is not generally available (I have yet to see one) and so you might check with where you got the camera for now. I may be seeing one next week and will answer then if I have more information.
