Hello,
I have a Realsense F200 sensor. I have been using it for the past 2 months and it worked without any issue. But over the past week or so, it started getting disconnected randomly. I read through all the posts about "device not detected" and tried out all the tips like disabling power management for USB ports and performing full shutdowns. I even tried multiple clean re-installations and firmware updates.
Today I installed the R4 SDK and on first attempt, I was able to visualize the raw streams in the Capture viewer. All of a sudden, the device got disconnected and I got an error saying "device malfunctioned".
I am sure it is a sensor related issue and not a problem with my system. This is because another Realsense device works perfectly well on this system.
My system config is Intel(R) Core i7-4870HQ, Windows 8.1 enterprise with Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller.
When I check in the device manager, I cannot see it in the imaging devices section. When the device functions properly, I can see two cameras in the same section.
On similar lines, when I plug the device in Ubuntu 14.04, a functioning device gets as 2 video devices under /dev. While this device does not get detected at all.
Could you please confirm if this is really a problem with the sensor and if so what the options of getting it replaced.
Thanks for you help.
