Sony Xperia and GeoLocation

I have an app that tests perfectly well on iOS 8 iOS9 Android 4.2.2 and Android 4.4.4 on a host of devices. 

The GeoLocation function works as expected on all devices except for a Sony Xperia (E4g in my case).

My App has permission to access the location information of the phone. I have also tested the XDK demo GeoLocation app on the Sony and it too fails to load the map with the current location.

Completely at a loss as to why this is happening.

Neither a Crosswalk build or a straight Android build fixes the issue.
