When Dell released the Venue 7 with the RealSense camera several months ago I had hoped that the Android SDK would be following close behind and the "coming soon" on this web site was part of that hope. Instead Intel seems determined to let the only mobile solution using Realsense lapse in obsolescence without providing any programming interface that would take the technology beyond the cheesy focus effects in photography. It appears at this point that moving towards Google's Tango platform is a much safer bet. What is the timeline for the Android SDK or should we just bag it right now?

Any info on this? Looking forward to RealSense SDK for Android release for quite some time now.
Maybe there is a possibility to participate in any kind of early adoption program?

David, not to pick on you but Intel dropped the ball on this horribly and we're not likely to consider anything depending on Intel development programs in the future. To be blunt you all can't be relied on and have managed to kill any momentum that was possible when Dell released a tablet almost a year ago.
