Transfer Node Locked License

We have a node locked license to Vtune cpp_studio_xe_2013_update1  We will be reimaging the machine and changing the ip address.  We do not have a maintenance contract.  Would it be possible to get a new license key issued?

Thanks,

Juan

Juan,

I don't see any node locked license under your registrations. I guess you mean a named-user license (formerly also known as single-user license). If this is the case, you don't need to change the licnese file. Just copy the license file from the existing machine and keep it ready for re-installation on the reimaged machine and use activaion option 'User alternative option .... Use license file'.

If this doesn't help, let me know your serial number of this license (please answer via "Send Author A Message").

Regards, Hubert.
