Hi there, I'm facing issues to add a 3rd Party Plugin by "Import Local Plugin" ...
On previous version of Intel XDK I was able to add without problems, but now I'm not able to add the same plugins I have on previous Intel version.
I see some people complaining about this issue, but the strange thing is that on previous version I have to extract the plugin zip file on project directory, and now looks like the Intel just look for a Zip file or the "Add Plugin" button still disabled... but when I try to add by the Zip file I was facing a error message like the plugin config file was not found...
If anyone have the solution for this, I really appreciate that!
Thanks!

Hi Rodrigo,
The local plugin should be in the plain text format rather than the ZIP compressed format.
Try uncompress the file and point to the directory in the "Import local plugin".
Thanks.

Hi Byoungro, I have tryed this before but no sucess...
The solution I found was uninstall the Intel XDK and reinstall again... Also I have to create a new project because I think some file of my project may get corrupted just by trying to add plugin before I have to uninstall it.
Thanks!
Rodrigo.

Rodrigo,
How did you add the local plugin. You should not manually put it in the directory structure, you should "Add Plugins to this Project" in "Plugin Management" in the Projects tab. Select "third-party plugins" tab, select "import local plugin" radio button.

Hi Pamela, I just did by that way you described!
This issue just happens after I installed the new version 2496 ...
By the way I'm creating a new project and perform some tests.... I'll keep you updated with the results!
Thanks!
