Hi, I am new to these forums...not even sure if I am posting in the right place.
I have a box with a W3540processorand I looked it up herehttp://ark.intel.com/ProductCollection.aspx?familyID=594and it said it has a socket "FCLGA1366" and a CPU ID "106A5".
Can I replace it with a X5680 processor with a socket ""FCLGA1366" and a CPU ID "06C2" ?
If yes, is there anything else I will need to be aware of when upgrading?
If no, what are my options for upgrading?
Thanks,
Tom
