Hi,
I am trying to evaluate VTune 9.1, but the serial number doesn't work. I obtained the serial number through Intel's license management page and entered it during the installation. I am installing on Ubuntu 9.10, but get the "Invalid license" error, so could not proceed with installation. Could you please help?
Thank you,
Tommy

Hi, Tommy
Vtune 9.1 is a quite old version product.
Please try below link to get an evaluation license for newer version Vtune, which named as Intel(R) Vtune Amplifier XE:
You will receive the license through your registered email. This license should also work with old version product.
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Hi Yolanda,
Thank you for the response. Yes, it is old version, but I need old version of VTune so that it would work with our Ubuntu server running version 9.10. As I understand, newer version of VTune does not support Ubuntu 9.10. I did signup for newer version of VTune to get a serial number, but the key doesn't seem to work with VTune 9.1.
Thanks.

Hi, Tommy
Have you tried install latest Vtune on Ubuntu 9.10? Have you met any errors?
Although it's not officially supported, we sometimes can work-around the problem on the old platform.
Thank you
