>>Intel Software Development tools are always intergrated with MS Visual Studios and take a look at installation requirements
>>for more details on supported versions of Visual Studios. No, this is not correct. There is no requirement to have Visual Studio installed, it is optional. The tools in Intel(R) Parallel Studio XE have standalone GUI: Intel(R) VTune(TM) Amplifier XE, Intel(R) Inspector XE, Intel(R) Advisor XE. You can use them fully-functional without MS VS.
Compiler doesn't have its own GUI, but is available from command line without Visual Studio.

Correction: Intel(R) Composer XE is not fully independent from MS VS, you'll need at least MS VS Express edition or Windows SDK. This depends on your configuration, check the release notes:

The only component of Intel Parallel Studio XE that requires prior installation of Microsoft Visual Studio is Intel C++ Composer XE. All of the other tools will work with the Visual Studio 2010 Shell environment provided by Intel Visual Fortran and they also have their own independent GUI.
