XDK Hang on Startup

I installed XDK on my MacBook Pro 20 minutes ago. When I launch the application post installation, it just hangs. No matter what I do, it just hangs there. Pretty frustrating venture so far. Any advice? Screen Shot 2016-01-05 at 11.16.31 AM.png

Update. I restarted my Mac and the app opened up. I was able to log in for the first time.
