activation rights do not allow this software to be installed?

I've got a student in our department who I helped purchase a copy of IVF Pro 11 from CDWG, but when we try to install it, we get the "Activation rights do not allow this software to be installed. This could be due to expired subscription or incompatible serial number." message. It's on Windows 7, so I had to copy the DVD to the hard drive and delete the chklic.exe that was listed as a solution on these forums.
Any idea why we can't get this running?

I am having the same problem with my install, but now when try to install the software it get's stuck at reading license file windows. Do you know why this is happening? Is there a fix for it?
