are c++ compiler licenses associated to specific versions ?

Our buyer had purchased a single user license for C++ Professional for Linux. The purchase order lists version 11.0. Does this license restricts me to install version 11.0 specifically or do I have a choice on which version (either a later or earlier version) to install ?

You can download different versions by logging into the registration Center.
