cannot activate tools from software manager

1) I have downloaded a trial version of 2016 XE Composer Fortran for Windows

2) During install, I provided the license key that was purchased

3) When I open up Intel Software manager and try to 'Activate' under licenses tab, it says activation is complete and it still shows 'Activate' button

4) My online profile still shows the evaluation key for my account. I cannot change the eval key to my purchased key ( I need this to get Premier access and/or other perks that come with a purchased key)

5)When I try to register the purchased key with email id that was used to download the eval version at https://registrationcenter.intel.com/en/, I get an error:

"Our records indicate that the serial number you provided has already been registered. Please check your records and try again. If you feel you have received this message in error"

What am I missing here?

Hi,

Please register your new SN at https://registrationcenter.intel.com/en/ first. I do not see the new SN in your account.

When I tried registering my SN at https://registrationcenter.intel.com/en/ , I get the following error:

"Our records indicate that the serial number you provided has already been registered. Please check your records and try again. If you feel you have received this message in error"

This issue has been resolved. The SN was registered to a different user in the company. If you have a similar issue, do not add it to this thread but start a new one.
