df.exe problem

I have installed V6.5 on a stand alone Win98 laptop which does not connect to the network and does not display a login window when it starts up. Consequently I cannot log on as a super user so as to run the Per setup "option" and I have problems locating the vis fortran driver image df.exe.
Is there any way of solving this problem? Thanks in advance.

Win98 doesn't have the concept of "administrator" - you should be able to run Per-User Setup without problems. What happens when you try it?

What exactly are you doing that causes a problem locating df.exe - compiling from Developer Studio?
