generate license file for trial install?

Hi, I'm trying to prototype how we are going to install Composer XE for Linux across a bunch of machines. It seems to do this in an automated way you have to have a license file. Is it possible to get a license file for the 30 day trial? (I don't seem to be able to get one out of the "My Intel Software Development Products" page). Cheers David

3 ways to get a license file: 1. save the one attached to the email which gives you a download URL 2. install using the key and use the resulting license file 3. register your key at https://registrationcenter.intel.com and get another copy of the license file emailed to you

Ah! Option 2. worked. Thanks! Regarding the others: Option 1 - there was no license attachment in the email (which arrived after I filled in a web form which then sent me straight to the download page). Option 3: says the key has already been issued. Cheers David

David,

We no longer provide license files for evaluation licenses. This is the reason why you don't get a license file after the eval registration. The way to activate an eval is to use the 'Evaluate this product' activation option during product installation where no serial number nor license file is required. The eval runs for 30 days. If you decide to purchase a product license, you can use the Intel Software Manager which installs with the product to activate your installation for permanent usage, so no re-installation is required. Once registered (eval or product license) you don't need to re-register the serial number. This is the reason why you got the 'already registered' error when you tried to register your eval serial number.

Does this help?

Hubert.
