i know nothing about computers. thats just a start. i wanted to put my laptop view onto my tv to watch movie and the like. i have sony vaio with a petium dual core, but its like 3 years old at least. it does have vista. so i bought a chord that has an end that goes into my laptop that would be for an exteral monitor and the other end it an s video and a yellow rca cable. the problum is there is nothing to make it work. my friend helped me to find out his dell has tvwsetup.exe and works through an s video port on his computer. can i download some software to make my computer send a signal form the port for a monitor to an s video or RCA cable. i dont have this tvwsetup.exe and would like to not have to get a new computer. my computer doesnt have an s video but i have that adapter cable. can anyone give me some help please
