Hi,
I was having the same issue. Then I tried running the SR300 DCM installer on Windows 8 compatibility and it runs successfully. Now, I am able to run one of my apps which uses 3D seg module on SR300.
However, it is also worth knowing that Intel suggests SR300 to be run on Win.10 build 10586.

Same here. Run in compatibility mode - windows 8(Right click, properties and go to compatibility tab) resolved the problem.

I have Windows 10 Pro build 10586.420 but I get the 1603 Error with the latest driver intel_rs_dcm_sr300_3.1.25.2599.
If I try to set Windows compatibility to Win8 it fails - only runs under WIndows 10
I found an instruction about installing using an INF from a zip file - anyone know where I can find that? Or is intel_rs_dcm_sr300_3.0.24.59748 still available somewhere?

The problem was my desktop - an oldish AMD. I installed on a new HP SPectre 360 and it worked straight away
