mpss 3.4.3 mpss fails to start @31S1 RHEL7

I cannot get mpss to start

mpss.service - Intel(R) MPSS control service
   Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/mpss.service; disabled)
   Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Tue 2015-04-14 12:47:36 BST; 9min ago
  Process: 6230 ExecStart=/etc/init.d/mpss start (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)

Starting Intel(R) MPSS control service...

mpss.service: control process exited, code=exited status=1
Failed to start Intel(R) MPSS control service.

 i have the same problem with you, My phi card is 31S1 ,OS is CentOS6.9, linux kernel is 2.6.32-696.1.1.el6.x86_64.

When i update flash, i got the error blow:

No image path specified - Searching: /usr/share/mpss/flash
mic0: Flash image: /usr/share/mpss/flash/EXT_HP2_B1_0391-02.rom.smc
micflash: micflash: mic0: Failed to switch to maintenance mode: write: /sys/class/mic/mic0/state: Input/output error

dmesg same to your.

PS: I play it on Exsi's VM.
