In the cvf samples I have seen that one can automate the msdev studio for this purpose. I see that certain functionalities are avaialble as illustrated in DSLINES and DSBUILD but the docs and commenta are VERY terse. For example it is not clear what a CONFIGURATION is in the DSBUILD example. Has anyone used these things? It would be nice if they came with sample input files to run on. Does anyone have samples that can be fed into any of these?
The reason I came across these:
I would like to build a mini-environment for someone who has CVF to compile very simple pieces of computational code to compile into a DLL. I can simply feed his text file to the command line: DF/dll but there is the dillemma of informing the said user of any errors and what lines they occurred on.
The output of DF can be routed to a text file which then needs to be parsed and rerouted to the user...A relatively tedious job. Any hints oin this will too, be appreciated.
