my AGP texture acceleration is not available

hi guys....
there seems to be a problem with my intel 945GCcr series....i have already installed the new drivers for my 950(gma) , but the
AGP texture is still not available in the directx, i am using directx 9.0c..
guys, please help me i have spend a lot of amount of money in it.... and i still dont know what to do....
Is there is a problem in my board or does WIN XP does not support intel 945 series
....
should i install vista to solve my problem with directx 10 in it....
please reply......
