Hello,
we are running a 5 user floating license for the Intel
development tools on our Itanium machines expiring
Oct 27 2012 (likely to be extended). According to the
license file these licenses are also valid for x86
architectures.
Logging in on my account amkwfb I was offered a free
upgrade for the new version 12 compilers and tools
but the license file generated contains a invalidation
date of Oct 27 2008.
Since those compilers (apparently only available on
x86 and x64) have a new product id this would have led
to 10 licenses if valid. But we would like to test and
use the current compilers on x64 hardware (Nehalem)
as well.
My question: Is it possible to create a new license file
containing 3 seats for the older compilers on Itanium
and 2 seats for the current version 12 (XE) compilers?
