old machine running pentium 4

Hi, I have a old machine running pentium 4 processor but its slow. so I woudl like to update with new latest processor like dual core or core2duo so do I need to change motherboard too??

Hi David this is not proper forum for your question.Please post that question on Intel desktop support forum.

BTW new latest processor is Hassswel and you will need a new motherboard.

thanks for your reply. if I only upgrade from intel pentium 4 to dual core then..?
