Hello,
we are helping a customer to install Parallel Studio XE 2016 for Linux with a floating 25-seat license. The serial number has been upgraded, and the upgraded number is registered at registrationcenter.intel.com. There are two problems: we cannot activate the product, and cannot get to Premier support. Here are the symptoms:
1) Trying to install PSXE using "install.sh", we get a message "Registration failed for unknown reason" when attempting to use the serial number to activate
2) If we use the license key path to activate, we get a message "The license file(s) you provided is not valid for this product"
3) If we use the license server hostname and port number, the installation process hangs (this is not a network configuration problem - see items 4 and 5)
4) The license manager is running, serving the updated license. Running "chklic -c server.lic" shows a lot of products that the license is good for, for example, this (I replaced the serial number with Xs):

5) When we try to access premier.intel.com using the same account under which the serial number is registered, we get an error screen: "Not Authorized to Access".

Feilong, thank you for your response! I am sorry for not updating sooner: this issue has been resolved.
We got Intel's help clearing the registration of the serial number, re-registered with the new key, and activation succeeded. No Premier access is not an issue, because, apparently, this customer's license was with self-support.
So no action needed. Thanks!
