Hardware Requirements and Recommendations

What is the most compact low power solution single board computer compatible with this R200 cameras?

I am looking to develop a 3D scanning application that combines the standard camera output with the 3D data from the IR cameras.

So far I found Intel NUC NUC5CPYH (http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/nuc/nuc-kit-nuc5cpyh.html)

It looks like it meets the requirements? Did anybody tried to run all the sample?

I am not sure if anybody tried ODROID-XU4 (http://www.hardkernel.com/main/products/prdt_info.php?g_code=G143452239825).

I know is not supported but it looks like it is the most compact solution available with USB 3.0 bus.

Does anybody know when the 2nd-gen of Intel Compute Stick is going to be available and if the hardware is going to be compatible with the R200 camera?

Thanks,

Toma

You can use that NUC system. Intel RealSense SDK requires 4th gen Intel CPU and above. So the second Samsung system did not meet the requirement. Thanks!

Hi Toma,

Since the odroid is using a completely different CPU architecture, it may not work.

You can test the slightly larger, but awesome MinnowBoard Max, which has USB3, and an Intel processor.

I reckon the minnowboard max is the smallest dev board that (maybe) supports Intel RealSense
