transfer to new computer

I have a new computer. I tried to download my old version of Microsoft visual studio 2008 version 9.0.21002. I do not think I got all the files that are needed. It did accept my license but it did not create an icon to open visual studio. My old version starts by pointing to devenv.exe. I do not see that on the new computer and I do not see nearly as many intel files. Can someone point me to the right download and tell me what file launches the visual studio? Thank you very much.
