Planning on using 2x Samsung 970 EVO 2TB M.2 NVMe drives in RAID 0 on X299 using VROC

Will these Samsung 970 EVO M.2 NVMe drives work with VROC as one main bootable drive for the OS? Or will I have to go with AMD Ryzen?

This section covers the SSDs that are supported on the product Intel® Virtual RAID on CPU. This section includes the Intel® SSD and third-party SSDs from other vendors.
• We advise you to check with your motherboard manufacturer compatible hardware list and instructions on how to set up your RAID configuration using Intel® VROC.
