Hello all. I'm using the Intel VROC CLI in my program to monitor RAID state, I want to know how many RAID states will have in VROC CLI outputs? Are the states include the following states "Normal", "Degraded", "Failed", "Unknown", " Locked" ? or have other states?

Hi Sachinks!

Sorry for confusing you, I am not a native English speakers, What I really want to know is:

How many states that RAID maybe has?

When the RAID is good,  VROC CLI will output RAID "Normal" state.

if the RAID is not good, What RAID states VROC CLI will output? "Failed" or "Degraded" ? or  have other states?

I need these states to integrate to my own program. So my program can know the RAID State.

Hello haiboyu,

Thank you for your reply.

There are only 5 states as mentioned by you earlier in the screenshot.

Normal state indicates that the RAID volumes are functioning correctly and Degraded, Failed and Unknown states might come due to a drive being degraded or drive failures as explained in the screenshot.

Hi Sachinks! Thanks for your reply!

I do a summary:

The VROC CLI output RAID states have 5 states:

RAID statecomment
NormalRAID is good, we can use it.
Locked/Degraded/Failed/UnknownWe should not use RAID, and we need to check RAID

Am I right?
