Hi,
I was measuring the L3 latency between NH and SB. The L3+Uncore ran at 2x the memory frequency I believe in NH, but in SB the L3 runs at core clock frequency. Does the rest of the UNCORE, the memory controller and coherency traffic controller also run at core frequency in SB? Thanks for any help..

Hello Perfwise,
These various frequencies in the uncores haven't been disclosed.
Is there a particular problem that you are trying to solve that this info would help you solve?

Pat,
I was measuring the L3 and memory latency and using that in my PMC studies. I had remembered SB ran the UNCORE at 2x the memory frequency, but knew that it could be run at core frequency as well (if you have a good bios which let's you do that :). It got me wondering what the behavior was on SB, and that's why I asked that question.
So doesn't sound like that's something that is going to be documented, right? Thanks for the help anyways..

Hello perfwise,
Yes, it is not going to be documented.
