How do I uninstall 'Intel product improvement program' GIVENit doesnot appear in uninstall programs

How do I uninstall 'Intel product improvement program' GIVEN it does NOT appear in the uninstall programs list but DOES appear as an actual single item in the control panel itself!. It does not appear using proprietry software uninstallers. I never actually installed it as well so a bonus would be the answer to how did it get there?. (win 10 user regrettably :-).
