Platforms with an exposed debug interface for sampling registers.

We are looking for proper Intel platforms with an exposed or exposable debug interface (DCI?) which can be used to sample the PC register. The most promising interface we have found so far is the DCI USB-3.0 interface available since 7th gen, but finding motherboards or development kits where this is explicitly supported is hard or just not documented.

My question is: are there platforms on which we can enable DCI in the BIOS? Does the current NUC generation support DCI?
