Problem with OpenGL context sharing in release mode on Iris XE

I had already posted this over on the Graphics forum and after three weeks of going back and forth and the only suggested resolution being to update my drivers (which didn't change anything), the engineer asked me to post this in the software dev forum...

The full thread is available here:

In short: we're seeing problems with OpenGL context sharing with the Iris XE on two NUC 13 Pros in Release builds of our app. The same app runs fine on dedicated graphics cards but also older Intel HD Graphics and with the Mesa3D software renderer.

It also works on the Iris XE with Debug builds.

So our conclusion is that there is a code path in the Iris XE driver causing this behavior.
Hence, we are not able to solve this ourselves and we need your help!
