Profiling Performances of Virtual Machines through PCM

Hello to Everybody,

I would like to measure the performances of a cloud VM instance in order to check for example if some parameters of a SLA are met. Suppose I am the hypervisor, how and what information I should extract from the PCMs to do that? I'm a little bit confused on how I can understand the usage of the resources by a specific VM.
