Using Intel PAL on Windows

Hi

I have couple of questions about Intel PAL

  1. Is it possible to change sampling rate of redistributable publishers (especially SEP publisher) through environment variables?
  2. How is SEP publisher able to report all counters in "sampling" mode given that there is only 4 programmable counters in my processor? Is this achieved through multiplexing?
  3. When I try to use SEP Publisher in "counting" mode, it reports all zeros. Could you give me a pointer on what might be causing this?
