I'm just a regular consumer. I'm shopping for a 16" laptop with Thunderbolt 4 ports (ideally two TB4 ports). I'm interested in the Acer Swift Go 16 laptop (I think the model number is SFG16-72T-95LG, but it might be N24H2 instead). That laptop has two USB-C ports, but I'm having trouble confirming whether those two USB-C ports are Thunderbolt 4 or USB4. I've searched Acer's online information and contacted their help desk and sales support and technical support, but all those sources only say that the laptop's two USB-C ports "support" Thunderbolt 4; none of those sources actually say the two USB-C ports actually *are* certified TB4 ports. I also tried searching for a Thunderbolt Certification website that would tell me if the ports on that laptop are certified TB4 ports, but I didn't find anything definitive. I don't know enough about Thunderbolt to know if a USB-C port that "supports" TB4 is in fact the same as a USB-C port that "is" a TB4 port ... but I do know enough about TB to know that I want actual TB4 ports not just USB4 ports. Can you tell me if the two USB-C ports on that laptop (Acer Swift Go 16 laptop ... model number SFG16-72T-95LG or N24H2) are official certified TB4 ports? Thanks.

How would Intel know what Acer implemented on their laptop? The only place for such an official answer is Acer.

Because Intel is involved in the Thunderbolt certification process: https://www.thunderbolttechnology.net/tech/certification
As I stated in my post, my question is as follows: are the USB-C ports on the Acer Swift Go 16 laptop (model number SFG16-72T-95LG or N24H2) official certified TB4 ports? As I stated in my post, Acer is not giving me a straight answer, so I came to this forum hoping that someone would give me a more useful answer about how/where to determine (for certain) whether a certain product is in fact an official certified TB4 product. I'm still hoping that someone can answer that question for me. Thanks.
